Hardcore was previously a separate model, but its base was still a frame from the Max model and also its components were often very similar. Therefore we included it in the Special Edition. Hardcore is still the only one real mountain recumbent bike, which is available on the market. We recommend using under-seat steering, wheel sets made by any of the renowned brands, the 80 mm adjustability front fork Rock Shox Tora or higher, the air shock-absorber Suntour, or DT Swiss, Shimano XT shifting, any of the disc brakes or V-brakes by Shimano XT. Schwalbe Racing Ralph tyres, which we also offer,  can be seen as the best option for this bike from our offer, as well as certain super light tyres from Continental. We recommend cranks with 44/32/22 teeth for easier riding up-hill. If you want to reduce the weight by half a kilogram, consider buying a carbon-kevlar seat.
